Our Management

A company is only as good as the quality of its people. At Chattahoochee Marketing Group, we pride ourselves in hiring employees who are committed to fulfilling the needs of each of our clients. Backed by an experienced management team, CMG provides a streamlined process of selecting and ordering promotional products.

Rick Boyd, President and Co-Founder

Prior to co-founding CMG, Rick Boyd worked as a financial analyst for a large utility corporation and as the vice president of manufacturing for a $20 million mail order apparel corporation. His experience in managing large manufacturing facilities gave him the expertise to oversee every aspect of CMG's development, from finding the perfect site location and defining design criteria, to securing financing and developing a business plan. Boyd also initiated the company's shift in focus from being a contract embroidery facility to an Internet corporate marketing firm.

Boyd earned his MBA at Emory University and currently serves on the Georgia Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.


Susan Boyd, Corporate Secretary and Co-Founder

Susan Boyd co-founded the Chattahoochee Marketing Group in 1993 along with her husband, Rick. Susan's background as a paralegal in the environmental industry gave her the business and organizational skills needed to properly manage every aspect of a small business. Susan oversees the company personnel and employee benefits, as well as assisting with the manufacturing, marketing, and customer service operations.

Susan earned her bachelor of science in geology at Florida State University and her paralegal certificate from the National Center for Paralegal Training.


David Saylor, Production Manager

David Saylor has been with Chattahoochee Marketing Group almost since the beginning. He joined the company in 1994 and serves as the Production Manager. David is responsible for setting and maintaining the production schedule and supervising the staff. He also manages the company inventory, maintains the design database, and oversees the Internet store.

Before CMG, David served as the Director of Technical Operations for an Atlanta company. His experience with managing the daily activities of multiple departments allows him to expertly oversee and manage CMG's daily production needs.
